A retailer may be selling your product below your own price. Would you know by Friday?
ShelfWatch Weekly tracks your competitors’ prices, products, promotions, retailer listings, and public Meta ads, and sends you one concise email and PDF each week. Currently covering U.S. pet brands on Shopify.
PetSmart listed Wild One’s waterproof collar at $29.99, against $35 on Wild One’s own site.

Retailer prices move without notice
Retailers set their own prices. When one lists your product below your brand-site price, customers tend to notice before you do, and your own store becomes the more expensive option.
An undercut
PetSmart listed Wild One’s waterproof collar at $29.99. Wild One’s own site listed it at $35.
Price parity
Walmart matched brand-site prices for the Pet Honesty Multivitamin ($32.99) and the Wild One harness ($48.00).

Retailer pricing is one signal among several. In the same week, a competitor may launch new products, expand its Meta advertising, or change its promotions. In our sample issue, Pet Honesty had about 270 active U.S. Meta ads and had launched 5 new products in 30 days, verified by hand.
Checking all of this by hand, when time allows, rarely happens on schedule. ShelfWatch Weekly runs the same checks every week, so you can respond while a change still matters.
Who it is for
A good fit
- Founders and marketing leads at smaller U.S. brands that sell on Shopify, currently in the pet category
- Brands whose products are also sold through retailers such as PetSmart, Walmart, or Amazon
- Teams that already look at competitors now and then, and want it done consistently
Not a fit
- Teams that need real-time or hourly alerts; ShelfWatch Weekly is a weekly report
- Agencies looking for a white-label dashboard
- Brands outside the U.S., or outside the pet category for now
How it works
Name your competitors
Tell us which brands to watch: up to three on Pulse, or up to six on Bench. You can swap brands within your plan’s limit.
We run the same checks every week
Storefront prices, products, and promotions; retailer listings; and Meta’s public Ad Library. Collection is automated, and every issue is reviewed by hand before it is sent.
Read one short issue
An email with a PDF attached: what changed and which changes matter. Bench adds recommended actions for the week and an 8-week Activity Score trend per competitor.
You could check your competitors yourself. Most teams do not do it every week. With ShelfWatch Weekly, you are buying the habit and the format: the same checks, in the same order, every week.

FAQ
Which brands do you cover?
We currently cover U.S. pet brands that sell on Shopify. Focusing on one category keeps the checks and commentary specific.
Where does the data come from?
Public sources only: brand storefronts and product pages, public retailer listings, and Meta’s public Ad Library. We do not use private accounts, customer data, or anything behind a login.
How is this different from doing it myself?
The checks themselves are straightforward. The value is consistency: the same checks every week, so changes build into a usable history. You are buying the habit and the format.
What happens in a quiet week?
We report it as a quiet week. If nothing material changed, the issue says so.
Can I change the competitors on my watchlist?
Yes, within your plan’s limit. Tell us which brands to swap and we will update the watchlist for the following issue.
What is included in the free sample?
A one-time issue covering up to three competitors, in the same format as the paid report, so you can evaluate it before subscribing. No payment details are required.
Do you work with agencies?
Our focus is on brands directly. If you are an agency working on behalf of a brand, tell us in the form and we will confirm fit.
How do cancellations and refunds work?
You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period. In the first 14 days, you receive a full refund if a report is late or incomplete relative to the published checklist.
